Creative Living Matters Family Day Care is in the process of establishing itself in the Wollondilly community, with a focus on holistic education and care
The CALM day care centre and Education Hub is dedicated to providing a safe caring and creative environment for our community. I have studied units at Macquarie University in educational phycology , performance and the arts , environmental science , and English and maths for primary aged school children. I am a qualified Nanny with a diploma from the Australian School for Nanny's , have a certificate three assistant in nursing and aged care , I have a certificate three in catering and food preparation, and I'm currently writing a educational production for children dealing with self image , and the basic constructs of psychological development in our society , with a burning passion for Dr Marshall Rosenberg's work in Non Violent Communication , and Dr Kumari's Laughter Yoga . Our centre promises to offer a safe creative and environment for children and their families where we can exchange and grow in the community , we are establishing lessons after school in non violent communication laughtear Yoga, fine arts music and dram . My business partner Peter Reay is a youth worker , counsellor , sustainable living advisor horticulturalist musician and environmental and community activist . I have provided a Jam space for our community for 15 years enabling mentoring and leadership amongst our youth, two years ago I hosted and organised Bargo creative Living Matters Music and Arts Festival , we hope we can add a fun and nurturing hub for our community so we may all benefit.
